Avianna Rishebarger is a recent graduate of Winthrop University with a bachelor's degree in music education and a master's degree in choral conducting. She is a resident of Richburg, South Carolina where she teaches piano and voice lessons at home.
At Winthrop, she was a member of the Winthrop Chorale since 2006 and was the soprano section leader in 2009. She was also a member of several graduate choral ensembles including her own ensemble this past year. During her last undergraduate year in 2010, Avianna assisted in teaching elementary music, middle level choral music and a piano class in the Rock Hill school district. She has taught piano lessons for the Winthrop piano academy since 2008.
Avianna is very involved in church/worship music and assisted choral clinicians for the Bonclarken ARP Music Conference. She has experience performing handbells, singing solos, and directing sectionals and children's choir as the Grace Lutheran Church music assistant. She recently became the choir director for Mt. Holly Methodist church and will direct children's, youth, and adult choirs as well as handbell choir this year.
